“Next to a leisurely walk, I enjoy a spin on my tandem bicycle. It is splendid to feel the wind blowing in my face and the springy motion of my iron steed. The rapid rush through the air gives me a delicious sense of strength and buoyancy, and the exercise makes my pulse dance and my heart sing.”

FAQ: How often should I charge my battery?
For best performance, make sure your battery is fully charged before every ride. This will provide you the greatest range for cruising up hills, hauling cargo, riding into a headwind, and more.
How long will a battery charge last?
Your Civia North Loop’s battery range can be anywhere between 20–110 miles depending on terrain, assist modes used, wind, total weight on the bike, and other factors. Range will diminish slowly over the life of the battery. Visit this link to learn more about your battery’s range.
What’s the North Loop’s maximum speed?
It’s up to you! The North Loop’s motor has a maximum speed of 20 mph, but it’s possible to go even faster under your own power.

Jamis Coda
“We’re famous for our steel bikes and the Codas have a lot to do with that. No frame material makes more sense on beat-up city streets than steel. Why? Hit a baseball with a wooden bat and then hit one with an aluminum bat and you’ll know why. You want your frame material to soak up those streets, not beat you with them. And we use only the best: Reynolds cold-worked, double-butted chrome-moly steel.
Every Coda offers a full complement of eyelets and rack mounts to simplify installation of a rear carrier, fenders and ring lock. The drivetrains on all our Codas feature long cage ATB rear derailleurs, full-size triple chainring cranksets (48/36/26 or 48/38/28) and big 11-32 cassette blocks. This gives you the dual advantage of having high road bike gearing for controlled pedaling at speed on descents and low mountain bike gearing for easier pedaling uphill. It’s a rider-friendly combination that’s made the Coda series one of our best selling bikes.”

tokyobike Classic Sport 26
“When you consider the beauty of the Classic Sport 26 it is easy to see our Japanese roots shine. The clean minimal frame design is not only easy on the eyes, but it combines a stiff rear triangle with a relaxed front end for a fast feeling, yet incredibly comfortable ride.
The Classic Sport now comes standard with 26" wheels for the ability to choose a range of tire types and widths. Originally meant for smaller riders in Tokyo, the 26" wheel offers the advantage of quicker acceleration, easier transport on public transportation, and more convenient storage in small apartments.
Equipped with a Shimano Rapid Fire shifter and 8-speeds, the Classic Sport is quick to shift and capable of climbing easy and descending quickly. Besides, the external Shimano Claris derailleur saves 2lbs of weight versus an internally geared bike. Add fenders, racks, and bottles cages to meet all your commuting needs.”

tokyobike Bisou
“The tokyobike Bisou is for the rider who wants a cruiser that goes fast, and looks beautiful. The Bisou model has 7-speeds, and can accommodate front & rear racks, baskets, fenders, and a single bottle cage. Compared to other step-through bikes on the market, the Bisou will feel incredibly light and zippy.
The step-through frame makes getting on and off the bike a breeze, especially if you are wearing nice trousers or a skirt. This feature is also helpful for new riders or those who are less flexible. The 26” wheel accelerates quickly in traffic, and fits plush comfortable tires. Add a tokyobike front basket and fill it to the brim at the Saturday farmer’s market.
Move quick through congested traffic, and look great doing so. Don’t be fooled by the angled top-tube, the Bisou is not a slow bike, and it’s not a “girls” bike, the Bisou is the perfect do everything bike for the fashion & comfort conscious rider.”

tokyobike Mono
“This is the perfect tokyobike for the rider who wants the best of both worlds— it offers the simplicity of a Single Speed, with the functionality of adding fenders and racks. The 26" wheel sets this model apart from our standard Single Speed, as it provides room for a wider, more cushiony tire up to 1.5" (without fenders).
Don’t be fooled by the beauty of this bicycle. The truth is, comfort, function, and simplicity are the key features of the Mono. Unlike most single speed bikes, the Mono also has the rear drop-out spacing to be to converted to a multi-speed bike with the help of your local bike shop, making it even more versatile.”
